• Adjudged best polytechnic of Northern India by NITTTR, Chandigarh for the year 2002-03.
• Adjudged best polytechnic of Northern India by NITTTR, Chandigarh for the year 2008-09.
• Have been awarded the Sardar Ajmer Singh Sarao Memorial Running Trophy for Best Polytechnic of Haryana in the year 2010-11.
• The Polytechnic has been Adjudged outstanding polytechnic of Northern India by NITTTR, Chandigarh for the year 2014-15.

The Polytechnic has been Adjudged again as outstanding polytechnic of Northern India By NITTTR, Chandigarh for the year 2020-21.
