Facilities
a. Canteen
Equipped with ultra modern facilities the college has a large cafeteria with separate enclosures for students and teachers. The functioning of the cafeteria is hygienic and satisfactory. A committee of teachers looks after all the aspects of cafeteria such as menu, rates and hygiene conditions. The cafeteria also has a big plasma TV for entertainment of the students. The canteen is provided with modern furniture and automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates.
b. Common Room
Separate common rooms are provided for boys and girls. Reading material like national dailies, magazines, is available to the students. There are numerous indoor games TT, carom, chess etc. Different wash rooms for boys and girls are adjoining to both the common rooms.
c. STPlant
Two separate Sewerage Treating Plants are functional in the polytechnic campus and Residential complex. This is again a step to preserve the resources of the nature. The treated water is utilized for harvesting and wash rooms.
d. Water Harvesting
Rain water harvesting system is established in the college campus and hostel. This is a big step towards the natural resources utilization.
e. Solar Power
All the hostels are equipped with SOLAR WATER HEATERS which ensures Hot water supply in winters and also helps in reducing power consumption thus helps in keeping the environment Clean and safe.
f. College Magazine
The essential purpose of ‘SMARIKA’ the annual magazine is to inform, engage, inspire and entertain a diverse readership — including alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and other friends of the Polytechnic — by telling powerful stories that present a compelling, timely and honest portrait of the institute. The magazine endeavors to reflect the values and the quality of the institution itself. By maintaining the respect and interest of its readers, the magazine aspires ultimately to inform their opinion of the College and to strengthen their commitment to its welfare.
g. FIRE-FIGHTING
The facility of fire extinguishers is made available in the labs and campus so that any unfortunate event loss can be prevented.
h. SECURITY CAMERAS
The cameras are available at every part of the campus so any kind of miss-happening can be stopped at much faster rate. The college security provides full security to the all people in the campus.
