Officer: Sh. Mandeep Singh

NCC (National Cadet Course) is the biggest organization in the world. It has about 15 Lac cadets enrolled in all over India. This organization is divided in 18 directorates. Our directorate is in Chandigarh which includes Haryana, Punjab, Himachalpradesh, Chandigarh. In Haryana there are two groups: Ambala, and Rohtak. Under Ambala group, there are nine battalions.

SJPP Damla has one unit of SD (Senior Division) supervised by 14 HAR BN NCC Yamunanagar. SD includes 54 cadets.

STATE LEVEL AWARD TO NSS PROGRAMME OFFICER DR. RAJESH GARG

We feel honoured to share that Dr. Rajesh Kumar Garg, NSS Programme Officer and NSS unit of Seth Jai Parkash Polytechnic have been awarded with State NSS award, Best NSS unit and Best NSS Programme Officer for the year 2019-20. Shri Kanwar Pal Ji, Hon’ble Education Minister conferred this award at a state level function held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. The institute received a memento for the State NSS award, a trophy for best NSS unit and an appreciation certificate for best NSS Programme Officer with Rs. 31,000 as a cash prize.

Sh. Anil Budhiraja, Principal said that the award has been conferred after taking into consideration the dedicated services to society like organisation of blood donation melas,tree plantation, awareness programmes on issues like dowry, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, deaddiction camps, digital transactions, health issues, solar energy, importance of cleanliness and different schemes launched by Government of India and Haryana. In addition, N.S.S. unit of the Polytechnic has done commendable work during covid-19 pandemic by distributing raw foods, masks, ppe kits, arranging vaccination camps. Shri Ashok Kumar, Chairman, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, General Secretary and other members of Managing committee congratulated Dr. Rajesh Garg , Principal and staff for this prestigious award.
